Meet the Team

Brett has been in the registered Beefmaster cattle business since 1996 when his grandfather, Burnus Fisher, introduced & started him out in the cattle industry. Brett now runs the ranch top to bottom. Brett and his family live on and work the ranch each day, working/checking cows, managing pastures, working in the hay fields, etc, etc... Brett's goal is to produce an animal that works for him and follows Tom Lasater's 6 Essentials. Brett has made a concerted effort to focus on functional cattle that do their jobs year in and year out. With a strong emphasis on selection, Brett identifies those phenotypical qualities of a good momma cow combined with her genetic performance to make the best decision he can. Alongside his wife and 3 kids, the ranch is family run with everyone pitching in one way or the other.
